DriverFly

DriverFly vs Tenstreet: Driver Recruiting Software Comparison

Tenstreet and DriverFly both help trucking companies recruit, hire, and stay compliant with CDL drivers. Tenstreet, founded in 2006 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is one of the largest platforms in the industry and sells many connected products. DriverFly, based in Los Angeles, is a newer platform built around AI recruiting agents, a network of 35,000+ drivers, and published prices. This page compares the two so you can decide which fits your fleet.

This comparison is published by DriverFly. Information about other companies comes from their own websites and public sources, checked on October 2, 2026. Products and prices change, so confirm details with each vendor before you decide. If you see something out of date, email [email protected] and we will correct it.

Pricing

Tenstreet does not publish prices. Its pricing page says the cost depends on the number of products and services you use and the size of your fleet, and that an annual contract does not have to be signed. Because Tenstreet sells many separate products, the total depends on how many you add.

DriverFly publishes most of its prices. The Digital Hiring App is $35 per month on its own. AI recruiting agent plans are $150 per month for 300 credits, $380 per month for 1,000 credits, and $780 per month for 2,500 credits, where one credit equals one minute of calling or 8 text messages. The ATS and Auto Recruiting are priced by fleet size, and the first month of the ATS is free. See DriverFly pricing.

AI recruiting tools

Tenstreet has added several AI features. Tenstreet Assistant includes an AI VoiceBot that calls engaged candidates and suggests messages to recruiters, and Tenstreet says it leaves the important choices to people. Pulse+ uses generative AI to reply to applicants after hours. A September 2025 release added AI transcripts of recruiter calls and fit and interest scoring.

DriverFly AI recruiting agents handle first contact for you. They call and text new applicants within minutes, at any hour, answer inbound calls, answer questions about pay, routes, and benefits, confirm basic qualifications, and schedule interviews. They also re-engage old leads when you have new openings. Every conversation is logged in the applicant profile, so recruiters see the full history.

Finding drivers

Tenstreet’s Job Store lets carriers post to 20 job boards, and Tenstreet reports that more than three million drivers use its products, including the IntelliApp application that many drivers already know.

DriverFly gives you three sources of applicants: the free DriverFly job board, Auto Recruiting, which delivers drivers from the DriverFly network of 35,000+ drivers and owner-operators who match your requirements and have completed a full application, and the AI agents that bring past applicants back.

Compliance and DQ files

Tenstreet has a broad compliance offering: electronic DQ files with alerts, MVR monitoring, FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse queries with Tenstreet acting as a third-party administrator, PSP reports, Xchange for employment verification, and integrations with 16 background screening partners.

DriverFly compliance management stores driver files and onboarding documents, tracks CDL, medical card, and certification expirations with alerts, sends automated VOE requests to past employers, and gives access to background checks, MVRs, and drug tests through screening partners.
